Chianti Classico DOCG 2024
Our Chianti Classico DOCG is one of our most traditional wines. The first label dates back to 2005, when Poggio San Polo was only available through a small network of family and friends. The wine is produced from our vineyards in Gaiole in Chianti. It is made from 95% Sangiovese with a small addition of indigenous Tuscan grapes: Canaiolo, Colorino and Malvasia Nera. The grapes are hand-picked and fermented spontaneously, in keeping with our minimal-intervention approach.

A Commitment to Sustainability
Sustainable practices have always been integral to Poggio San Polo not as a trend, but as part of the original philosophy that shaped who we are. In 2026, this commitment was further emphasized through our adoption of the Equalitas Sustainable Certification, developed in agreement with the UN's 2030 Agenda Sustainable Development Goals.
The certification outlines our mandate for wine production in favour of environmental protection, social wellbeing, and economic progress.
